This industry doesn't have many fans because of the many scams and frauds some bad entrepreneurs brought to the table, also because is old school aggressive direct selling strategies. However, NM is one of the best ways to start a low cost business, you just have to do a little research before joining any of this companies. One thing I can recommend you is to completely avoid any firm without a real product or service, if the firm makes money by just recruiting new members, look the other way and run, literally.
Another thing I recommend you If you are in Network Marketing, be sure to READ and UNDERSTAND all the possible hoops your contract has before you to jump in the business and beware of any loophole or irregularity, because that can be the difference between making a fortune and making a few dollars.

-- Any pro athlete about to join a professional league team will review their contract, before signing anything.
-- A top business executives about to join a corporation will study their contract, before agreeing to anything.

-- Investors and first time Homeowners about to purchase a home will not sign anything before reviewing their contract.
-- That's why smart Network Marketers SHOULD review their MLM Firm's contract, FIRST, before agreeing to their terms.
Forget BEING NAIVE and think that an NM company will not deliberately set you up for failure, and direct all their wealth potential to them. Youe have to take some time to know what type of company you're gonna be working with before giving then your precious signature!
* STUDY THE CONTRACT: No matter how amazing the opportunity may look, you should research and review your contract. You would if you were looking for a traditional job, right?
* REVIEW THEIR INCOME CLAIMS: If your investment is $60 per month and you are being promised a minimum income of $1,500 per month, you need to ask: "Where is the money coming from?"
* FIND A MENTOR WITH EXPIERENCE: A mentor is someone who is already successful in this industry, and who will help you learn the required skills needed to be successful.
* USE TEAMWORK TO BOOST PROFITS: Be part of a Team. How many non-team players do you know who are successful?
