News: Google Taking On Technorati

Google Boosting Their Blog Search Engine Traffic To Beat Technorati!

I don't know if you have notice that Google added a link to their Blog Search Engine on the front page of Google News, which is a big move ahead of it's competitor Technorati because that small strategic change has boosted up their blog search traffic since October 2006 when they first try this marketing move send more web visitors to that part of their site.

Hitwise said that now 60% of Google Blog Search traffic comes directly from Google News. And yes, Technorati still very popular but after users complaint about update delays to the Technorati blog rankings and a frew of other problems have lowered their site and service populatity among bloggers.

So, make sure your blog, YouTube video, and other social networking profile you have are submited to Google's Blog Search engine which will send a lot of free targeted traffic to your site. But, don't forget Technorati just yet, their service still very strong and after Google's Internet marketing strategic move they are working on improving the service and web traffic, plus you can still get a lot of traffic from there.
