Digg Suck - Blog Marketing There Is Like Throwing Crap In The Toilet

By Luis Galarza - Affiliate Marketing Secret Training Guide Blog

It's True!... Digg Sucks Big Time. The Golden Days When Any Blogger Use To Submit Their Hard Working Blog Post To Generate Link Baiting Viral Sequence Are Are Over. Blog Marketing Is Consider Trash Marketing In Digg...

Why Blog Marketing On Digg Is Like Crap In The Toilet?

I know this is a harsh way to put it, but that's exactly what the main Digg community or fans think about blogs... Yes, the service still a social bookmarking tool that is control by the people, the problem is that the people that is controlling Digg content are just geek fans of a few popular tech topics and that's it.

Everyone is noticing this... my friend Jeffro from Jeffro2pt0 also think that the Digg story doesn't sell anymore, because the community that is now on top of whatever content steps the inside Digg's site is thrown to the side if if not related to what they like.

Here is what Jeffro wrote in his blog post:
"Muhammad makes a series of points that I agree helped to propel Digg.com to success. However, the golden days of Digg.com are long gone.

One of the biggest reasons why Digg became successful was that it provided individuals with the opportunity to govern the site. By way of democracy, users choose which articles were submitted to the site, what made it to the front page, which new features should be implemented, ect. What a novel concept this was in the beginning. Fast forward to today and what do we have?

Digg is now controlled by the majority of users who just so happen to be Apple fanboys, who just happen to be Linux fanboys, who just happen to be political nut cases. Occasionally, you will see an article reach the front page that doesn’t fit in these three categories, but for the most part, these three categories run the roost. At one time, it was ok to submit Digg articles that were housed on blogs. Nope, you can’t do that anymore because the majority of Digg users frown on blogs and consider all blogs to be internet trash."

As you see, if your blog post or article have nothing about Microsoft, Linux, or Apple, your content just get bury in the Digg sandbox. As an online marketer you need to see if Digg needs to be part of your regular Internet or Social Media Marketing strategy...

Now, don't trash Digg yet. Because still a good way to build one way links back to your blog post or article page, which is a good element for your search engine optimization or SEO efforts. But, forget trying to generate link baiting sources from there. Hopefully, the community will get some evolution changes and become the cool Digg it used to be.

Now there are ways to create buzz in this social bookmarking site by integrating useful content with a title that have the words Microsoft, Apple, or Linux in it... don't just mention it on your title to try to get on the front page of Digg, the strategy here is to write a peice of quality information that can introduce your blog, web site, or product to this audience in a nice and professional way. If you do it right you may even create a link bait viral squence with your article.

This can work because the Digg community is just fans of this topics, read what Jeffro said about this...
"With all that being said, many of the things that made Digg successful are also the things that are dragging the service down. Digg is run by crowds of vocal people. So vocal in fact, that if you put the words Microsoft Sucks or Apple or Linux into your post title, you’re guaranteed a front page spot on Digg. It doesn’t matter if the story is nothing more than a rumor. Because of these insanely vocal crowds, regular users visit Digg.com and are constantly bombarded with these types of news stories.

The bottom line is this. Digg WAS great, now it SUCKS. Do yourself a favor and create an RSS feed that aggregates stories submitted to Digg with the keywords you configure so you rarely have to visit the Digg.com site itself. Let the (lack of wisdom) Digg crowd work for you, not against you."
Don't stop submitting your article or blog post, just do it smart if you want to use it as viral marketing tool. Remember that Web 2.o or Social Media Marketing still in evolution and I don't think this changes will ever stop, so you need to change with it and test different strategies to keep growing your online small business.

Get Free Blog Traffic With Twitter

Twitter Micro-Blogging Increase Blog TrafficBy Luis Galarza - Affiliate Marketing Secret Training Guide Blog

Can This New Web 2.0 Tool Called Twitter Help You Send More Traffic To Your Blog?

The answer to that question is; Hell Yeah!

Twitter is not just another stupid Web 2.0 or Social Networking idea that only adds more things to do to our live, instead Twitter micro or mini blogging service give you the opportunity to socialized faster by using web text messaging system to let your friends know what are you doing on any given moment. For details on the service just read "Are You A Twitter.com User"

Increasing blog traffic for free using Twitter (Micro-blogging) service is very simple, because every post done on the site can be turn into a link. So, the easy way to promote your blog is by posting the headline of your current blog post, then link it directly to your blog post URL, not the main blog domain.

Increasing click through with good headlines
As you know headlines are the main part of a promotion like this one, the headline can kill or boost your traffic. So, make sure your headlines are written with one goal and one goal only, to make people click and visit your blog post for more information.

There are many ways to write a good sales headline, but that's a topic for another post. Two thing you can do to make your headlines clickable are: Make it catchy, and make them a tease.

Catchy Headlines
Just make them funny, use a sense of controversy, make them negative, or write something positive about something negative this will make people click to read why are you saying that kind of stuff. Avoid trying to use dirty words, if you do make sure you don't insult anyone. For example: "Snake On A Plane Is The Best Movie Ever!", yo think people will click to read what this crazy title is all about, hell yeah!

Tease Headlines
A good blog title or ad in this case need to get viewers to want more or to find out more about whatever you are writing. For example: "In 1 Hour I Generated 1000 Blog Visitors", people looking to increase their blog traffic will be crazy not to click this headline, don't you think?

Here good article post at SearchEngineLand.com blog "Twitter: More Than Messaging It Can Generate Traffic"

Twitter can generate lots of free blog traffic for you if you use it right of course. Plus, every single of those back links are helping your blog search engine optimization process, which means even more free traffic.
