By Luis Galarza - Affiliate Marketing Secret Training Guide Blog

What Of The Heck Is A Lead Capture Or Squeeze Page? And Why Do I Need It As Part Of My Internet Marketing Strategy?

Hi everyone, today a few of my offline business friends were asking me "what's a lead capture page or squeeze page?". They are using some of my advice to make money online for free by just blogging about what they like or they have a lot of interest in... and if they just blogging for money, why they need a lead capture page or an opt-in email list for?

They ask these because they see that many of the top online bloggers don't use them or any other list building strategy for that matter. Which for the most part is true, a lot of bloggers don't see the benefit of building a email list as part of their online business strategies. They just concentrate on providing good unique content on their blog and get people to sign up to their RSS feed, which is just email marketing the web 2.0 style. But, is not as powerful as owning your own list of private prospects that if you follow good email marketing methods you can turn them into customers and affiliate product buyers over, and over again.

So, what a lead capture or squeeze page?
This is just a single page with sales copy and an opt-in email sign-up form which only goal is to generate a list of targeted leads that are interest in solving a niche problem. Yeah, that's it!

A good lead capture page can generate a responsive list of prospects that can be turn into customers with a good email follow up strategy.

You can use squeeze pages to build a list of leads for your new ebook publishing business, to make money by promoting affiliate programs related to your niche, or to build an successful ezine business that can earn you cash from advertising sales, affiliate marketing, and joint ventures.

The elements of a good lead capture or squeeze page are:

- A good headline that sells
- Good sales copy
- A list of benefits for the reader
- A hook or special offer (like a free ebook)
- An email form
- A link to your "Privacy Policy", "Term Of Use", and "Disclaimer" page if is needed.

Opt-in lead email capture pages can be design only with text, but you can also try images, video, audio, a professional backgrounds.

"The trick here is to test to find what works best, trash what doesn't work, and improve what works to increase response."

Lead generation is a must even if you just blogging for money...

You can make $20 for a 20 minute survey!

Guess what? This is exactly what major companies are paying for. They need to know what their average customer needs and wants. So these companies pay $1,000,000's of dollars per month to the average person. In return, the average person, myself included, answers some questions and gives them their opinion.

Did you know that regular people are making $250 to $750 for a minute of their time simply just doing voice recording on a computer?
